Yucca District - Meet Councilmember Joyce Clark
Joyce Clark represents the Yucca District which includes a portion of south and all of western Glendale. Councilmember Clark was the first representative for the district and was elected in 1992. She served in that position until 1996. After a brief hiatus, she ran again in 2000. She defeated the incumbent as a write-in candidate, an event that had never before occurred in Arizona. Councilmember Clark has served continuously from 2000 to the present.

On Wednesday, August 24th six Yucca residents were the first to receive NOOK E-Readers as part of Councilmember Clark's Virtual Library program.
