Meet Your Vice Mayor - Steven Frate
Vice Mayor Steven Frate was elected to represent the Sahuaro District in March 2000 and re-elected in 2004 and 2008. He was named Vice Mayor in June 2010. Vice Mayor Frate campaigned as a neighborhood activist. Prior to joining the Council, Frate served five years on the Glendale Parks and Recreation Commission, completing a term as the commission’s chair. He also served on a committee to assist with a unique pilot project for neighborhood planning, which is today’s Glendale Neighborhood Partnership Program.
