On 7/4/02 witnesses reported hearing shots in the area of 5100 w camelback rd and observed Jose Antonio Duarte in the parking lot of Tony’s bar fall to the ground. Witnesses attempted to help Jose to the hospital and contacted police in the area of 27th avenue and Campbell for medical help. Witnesses also reported observing four Hispanic males in a newer model black or green 4dr ford p/u truck, with chrome strip across tail-gate, chrome colored roll bar, chrome front grill and dark windows. Investigators are requesting the public’s assistance with information that may lead to solving this homicide.
