Touch A Truck - February 27

FREE ADMISSION! TEN YEARS OF TRUCKS; TEN YEARS OF FAMILY TRADITION! Help us celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the ever popular Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, February 27 at Glendale Community College, 6000 W. Olive Ave., 10 a.m.-1 p.m. It's FUN for the entire family and educational too! Come out, look at, sit in and TOUCH A TRUCK of all sizes and shapes. Test your skills in the Sand Play Area, The Big Dig and Tiny Tot Drivers. Bring your camera to capture those special shots in a fire truck or big rig. Glendale Folk & Heritage Festival - March 20 & 21

FREE ADMISSION! Come out and enjoy over 150 performers featuring everything from folk and bluegrass music to cowboy poetry and storytelling. Other highlights include historic site tours, blacksmith demonstrations, children’s stage/activity area and workshops by accomplished entertainers. It happens Saturday-Sunday, March 20-21, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Sahuaro Ranch Park Historic Area, 9802 N. 59th Ave. Admission and most activities are free. Refreshments will be available for purchase. For more information, call 623-930-4200.
