CAPRA provides quality assurance and quality improvement of accredited park and recreation agencies throughout the United States. CAPRA is the only national accreditation of park and recreation agencies, and is a valuable measure of an agency’s overall quality of operation, management, and service to the community.
This community park, also referred to as "Chicken Park" by longtime Valley residents, is split by Bethany Home Road. The park is 17 acres total with 10 acres on the north side of Bethany Home Road and 7 acres on the south side.
The south side of the park features an urban lake with ducks and an anglers' plaza. The north side features an F-100D Super Sabre Air Force Jet display.
