Library - Visiting Authors

Authors @ the Teague

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2:00 PM
Velma Teague Branch Library

Author Beth Solheim will discuss and sign her new paranormal mystery, At Witt’s End, during the upcoming Authors @ the Teague event .

In the madcap spirit of Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series, Sadie Witt is a very unconventional senior citizen sleuth – and a complete fashion disaster.  With the help of her dog and some restless spirits, Sadie must solve a murder while thwarting attempts to shut down her lakeside resort, “Witt’s End.”  This is the first book in a planned series, with Outwitted scheduled to be the sequel.

The program is free.  Books will be available for purchase and signing.  For more information, please call 623-930-3439.

Author Cara Black

Author Cara Black will discuss and sign her new Aimée Leduc mystery, Murder in the Palais Royal, during the upcoming Authors @ the Teague event .

In this tenth outing for Aimée Leduc,"the Parisienne Kinsey Milhone" (“Los Angeles Times”), there’s plenty of darkness in the City of Light.  The private investigator finds herself the chief suspect when her partner, René, is shot.  Clearly Aimée has been framed, but who’s impersonating her, and why?    Who’s behind the suspicious deposit to the firm’s account?  And how do two murders connect all the way back to Murder at the Marais, the first installment in the series?

Known for vivid, authentic Parisian settings and well-drawn characters, Aimée Leduc Mysteries have consistently received excellent reviews.  Black, who lives in San Francisco, frequently travels to Paris for research.

Books will be available for purchase and signing after the discussion.  The public is welcome to attend.
