2009 Overlay Project Information UPDATE
Important Road Closure Information for June 25-26 for Glendale’s Rubberized Asphalt Overlay Project
A complete intersection closure will occur at the 67th Avenue/Olive Avenue intersection beginning Friday, June 25, at 8 p.m., through Saturday, June 26, at 8 p.m.
This closure is necessary to mill (remove asphalt) and overlay the intersection. Traffic will have access to residences and businesses up to the intersection closure, but will not be allowed to enter the closed intersection. Businesses at the intersection will remain open and accessible during the closure.
During the weekdays, the mill and overlay operation is currently taking place on Olive Avenue, from 63rd to 67th avenues. During this project, existing asphalt will be replaced and there may be brief periods of time wherein driveways may not be accessible. Officers will be on site to assist with traffic and the public is encouraged to follow signs and instructions. We appreciate your patience during this work.
