Public Art Program - Artist Opportunities
	2012-2013 Performing Arts Partnership Program The Glendale Public Art Program is pleased to announce the 2012-2013 Performing Arts Partnership Program. We have developed this program to motivate, increase and support the performing arts in the City of Glendale. The Glendale Arts Commission will only accept one proposal per applicant organization. The Glendale Arts Commission awards support up to $4,000 per applicant in the fields of theater, dance and music. To be considered for this program the applicant must reside in, or work in partnership with, an organization domiciled within the city limits of Glendale. 	Call to Artists - Glendale’s 2012 Plein Air Competition at Glendale Chocolate Affaire The City of Glendale’s Public Art Program in conjunction with Special Events, will sponsor the 2012 Plein Air Painting Event at the Glendale Chocolate Affaire. It will be held during the popular festival in downtown Glendale, on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012. We invite artists to participate. Pictured to the left is the 2011 Best of Show winner by DJ Berard. 	Request for Quotation - Illustrations for Glendale Tree Trail The City of Glendale invites sealed quotations from firms or individuals to develop illustrations for interpretive signage along the newly installed “Tree Trail” at the Glendale Xeriscape Demonstration Garden.
