Lapidary Workshop

Learn to cut and polish stones for jewelry. Jewelry can be sold in the Gifts Plus Shop in the Glendale Adult Center Lobby. Great for all skill levels. $4 per session.
Silversmithing

Sewing
Wednesdays • 9 a.m.–Noon • Room 103
The Sewing Club volunteers their time to make items that will be donated to nursing homes,
child care centers, etc. Donations of clean cotton material and yarn are appreciated. Previous sewing experience required. We don’t do alterations, etc.
Knitting
Wednesdays • 1–3 p.m. • Room 103
Know how to knit? Volunteer at the center and join us for an afternoon of knitting. Bring your own needles and supplies, yarn is provided. Make chemo caps and boots to donate to cancer patients.
Ceramics
Tuesdays • 8 a.m.–Noon • Room 105
Learn about ceramics in a relaxed setting. Small firing fee charged. No sign up necessary; just join us in the Ceramics Room on Tuesday mornings.
Fix-It Shop
Fridays • 8 a.m.–Noon • Room 110
The fix-it guys repair small household appliances (no TVs, VCRs or computers) with no charge for labor; you pay only for parts. Donations accepted.
