Lunch Program - Menu
Noon, Monday-Friday • Nutritious lunches available. For participants ages 60 and older, recommended contribution is $2.50; a charge of $3.50 for people under 60. Menus available. (623) 930-4321. This meal program is a collaboration funded by the YWCA of Maricopa County, Glendale Adult Center, Glendale Community Development Block Grant, the Area Agency on Aging, Region One and United Way.
B.A.G.I.T.
(Bus and Gus Individual Training)
Learn to ride the Bus, GUS (Glendale Urban Shuttle) and the Light Rail with one of Glendale’s BAG IT (Bus and GUS Individual Training) sessions. Old Time Gospel Sing Along
Second Wednesday • 1–3 p.m. • Palo Verde
Join Ken Balog for an old-time hymn sing along with hymns such as Amazing Grace and I Love to Tell the Story. Ken will supply song books. If you have a gospel hymn you would like to sing for us on CD, tape or acapella – bring it. Come and join the fun!
Open Computer Lab
Days/hours vary – pick up a schedule outside of the computer room.
TUTORS are available on Friday from 9 a.m. to Noon.
