New LED Traffic Lights
Drivers in Glendale will be using two kinds of green at city traffic lights: green energy and brighter green lights. Glendale’s Transportation Department has upgraded traffic lights citywide to LED in an effort to conserve energy and reduce costs. LED, or light-emitting diode, last longer, use less power to energize and have a robust sharpness compared to regular lights. Read more |

Learn to ride the Bus, GUS (Glendale Urban Shuttle) and the Light Rail with one of Glendale’s BAG IT (Bus and GUS Individual Training) sessions. Beardsley Road and 101 Construction Info
ADOT has partnered with the cities of Peoria and Glendale on a $20.6 million project funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 to improve Loop 101 freeway access via Beardsley Road while easing traffic demands at the Union Hills Drive interchange.
