On 11/10/03 officers responded to a shots fired call at 6300 W Glendale Avenue. Witnesses reported hearing shots from a residence in this area with people running from the home. Upon arrival officers discovered Carlos Manuel Higuera-Romero lying on the ground outside with a single gunshot wound. Carlos was transported to a local hospital where he later died. Officers also discovered a second victim in a nearby trailer park hiding in a vacant shed. He too was treated for a gunshot wound. Investigators are requesting the public’s assistance with information that may lead to solving this homicide.
