Design Review is a critical process to assure consistency with city goals, objectives and guidelines. The review is needed for any single-family residence, multi-residence, office, commercial, or industrial project when changes includes new development or construction, change in occupancy, expansion of a building, remodel that alters 20 percent of existing site or building, remodel valued at 50 percent or more of the existing improvement on the site, prior occupancy or use of any commercial or industrial building or site which has been vacant for one year or more, or any amendment to an approved Design Review Plan. Please contact the Development Services Counter in person or call (623) 930-2800 and ask to speak to the Development Services Counter and request staff to fill out a Service Request Form. This will start the process for design review.
