On 10/22/2006 Police Officers responded to a shooting call at the townhome complex located at 4700 W Palo Verde Dr. Upon the arrival of police victim Derrick Goode was found shot to death at his townhome. Witnesses at the scene shortly before the shooting observed a male subject at the door of the apartment wearing a white t-shirt, shorts and a white ball cap on backwards.
