PUBLIC NOTICE

In accordance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations, the Glendale Community Housing Division (CHD) will discuss amendments to the Glendale Community Housing Division’s Agency Plan for Fiscal Year 2012-13, with the Community Development Advisory Committee.

The amended Agency Plan items and all related documents will be available to the public for review and inspection from January 30, 2012, through the close of business on March 15, 2012, at the CHD Office located at 6842 North 61st Avenue, Glendale, Arizona. CHD hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Written comments may be submitted to Erin O’Neil, Senior Management Assistant, City of Glendale Community Housing Division, 6842 North 61st Avenue, Glendale, Arizona 85301, until the close of business on June 20, 2011.

PUBLIC NOTICE - Glendale Community Housing Reopens Waiting List for Public Housing 

The Community Housing Division will begin accepting applications for the Conventional Low Rent Public Housing beginning June 28, 2011.  The application line will be open from 9 to 11 a.m. every other Tuesday. NOTICE TO SECTION 8 AND PUBLIC HOUSING FAMILIES
Glendale Housing Will No Longer Provide Postage Paid Envelopes

In order to maximize housing assistance funds and to assist as many families as possible, the Glendale Community Housing Division must discontinue providing you with postage paid envelopes for mailing correspondence back to our office including applications and recertification information.

This change will become effective July 1, 2011. Please remember to affix the correct amount of postage to your correspondence, as it is your responsibility to submit materials on time. Failure to do so may cause the Housing Authority to terminate your assistance.

You still have the option of hand-delivering any requested materials to the Housing Administration Building, 6842 N. 61st Ave., during normal business hours on Monday – Friday. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

CHANGE REPORT POLICY UPDATE - Effective July 1, 2011
